Privacy Policy

Simply Comply thanks you for visiting our website www.simplycomply and for your interest in our company. We take the protection and security of your data entrusted to us seriously and want you to feel safe and comfortable when you visit our website and use our offers.

We advise you to carefully read this Privacy Notice (“Notice”), so that you are aware of which personal data are collected when you use our offers and services and how we use them afterward.

As far as Simply Comply processes personal data, this is done for the purposes specified in this data protection declaration. The range of services includes advice, testing, tests, and reports as well as certification and training. The objectives are reliability, safety, and quality.

This Notice applies to individuals visiting our Website and applies only to the information we collect through our Website, e-mail, text and other electronic communication received.

We collect and store the IP address assigned to your computer to transmit the content of our website you have requested to your computer (e.g. texts, images and files made available for download, etc.) (cf. Art. 6 para. 1 lit.b GDPR). We also process this data for misuse detection and tracking. In this respect, the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest in data processing is to ensure the proper functioning of our website and the business conducted through it.

Personal data will also be processed if you provide it to us voluntarily, for example in the context of an inquiry or booking or the ordering of information material or a newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The data processed by us includes customer data, employee data, and data from suppliers, insofar as this is necessary for the purposes stated in this data protection declaration.

If, as described above, we process your data to receive and process your respective inquiry, booking, or (newsletter) order, you are contractually obliged to provide us with this data. Without this data, we will not be able to process it accordingly.

If you have consented to the processing of personal data (cf. Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR), you can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing based on the consent until the revocation.

We understand the importance of taking extra precautions to protect the privacy and safety of children using our Website. The services are not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 18 or market to or solicit information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a person submitting personal data is under 18, we will delete all the information as soon as possible unless it is with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at …………..

As a rule, your details will not be forwarded to any other companies for processing.

If necessary, information can also be processed by our partners, however, only if this is necessary for the purposes stated in this data protection declaration or if the other company acts as a service provider/processor who is bound by instructions.

We sometimes use service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. for email marketing, software development, or support in processing customer inquiries). In the cases described here, the information is passed on to these third parties to enable further processing. The external service providers are carefully selected by us and checked regularly to ensure that your privacy is preserved.

The service providers are instructions-bound service providers/contract processors and are accordingly obliged by us, among other things, to treat your data exclusively per our instructions and the applicable data protection laws. In particular, they are obliged to treat your data as strictly confidential; you are also prohibited from processing the data for purposes other than those agreed.

The transfer of data to processors takes place based on Art. 28 Para. 1 GDPR.

We also do not sell your data to third parties, nor do we market it otherwise.

However, your personal data will be passed on to the law enforcement authorities and, if necessary, to damaged third parties without your express consent if it is necessary to investigate illegal use of our services or for legal prosecution. However, this only happens if there is concrete evidence of illegal or abusive behavior. A transfer can also take place if this serves to enforce terms of use or other agreements. We are also legally obliged to provide information to certain public bodies on request. These are law enforcement agencies, authorities that prosecute administrative offenses and financial authorities.

The transfer of this data is based on our legitimate interest in combating abuse, prosecuting criminal offenses and securing, asserting and enforcing claims, provided your rights and interests in the protection of your data do not prevail, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Transmission to third countries is currently not planned, otherwise, the corresponding legal requirements will be created. In particular, you will be informed about the respective recipients or categories of recipients per legal requirements.

This also applies if external services are used. The effectiveness of our security measures is checked and the measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. When entering personal data, it is always transmitted in a highly encrypted form.
